Money Jotter (“the App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information.

• Game Data: All game records, player information, scores, and other data are stored locally on your device (using SQLite database) and are not uploaded to any server.
• No Account System: The App does not require registration or login, so we do not collect your name, email, phone number, or other personal information.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, which may collect certain information:

Google AdMob (Advertising Service)

• Purpose: Display advertisements to support the free operation of the App
• Information Collected:
  • Device information (device model, operating system version)
  • Advertising identifier (Advertising ID / IDFA)
  • IP address
  • Ad interaction information
• App Tracking Transparency (ATT): On iOS, the App presents a system dialog requesting your tracking authorization. If you grant permission, the advertising service may use your data for cross-app tracking to deliver personalized ads. If you deny or have not yet authorized, the advertising service will only show non-personalized (contextual) ads. You can change this authorization at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

Google Play Services (Android Only)

• Purpose: Provide core app functionality
• Information Collected: According to Google Play Services policy

Firebase Analytics (Usage Analytics)

• Purpose: Understand how users interact with the App to improve user experience
• Information Collected:
  • App usage events (e.g., starting a game, completing rounds, ending games)
  • Device information (device model, operating system version)
  • App version information
  • Approximate location (based on IP address, country/region level only)
• Information NOT Collected:
  • Player names or game content
  • Personally identifiable information

Firebase Crashlytics (Crash Reporting)

• Purpose: Collect crash reports to help us fix issues and improve app stability
• Information Collected:
  • Crash logs and stack traces
  • Device information (device model, operating system version, memory state)
  • App version information
• Information NOT Collected:
  • Game data or player information
  • Personally identifiable information

Firebase Remote Config (Remote Configuration)

• Purpose: Check whether a mandatory app update is required
• Information Collected:
  • App version information
  • Platform information (iOS / Android)
• Information NOT Collected:
  • Any personally identifiable information or game data

Information Use

Local Data Use

• Game records and player information are used solely for in-app features such as displaying scores and history
• This data is completely stored on your device and you can clear all data at any time by deleting the App
• The App provides a database export feature (in the Settings page) that allows you to export your local game data for backup or troubleshooting purposes. The exported file is stored on your device and will not leave your device unless you explicitly share it

Advertising

• We use Google AdMob to display advertisements
• On iOS, whether ads are personalized depends on your ATT authorization choice:
  • Tracking authorized: Ads may be personalized based on your interests and usage behavior
  • Tracking not authorized: Only non-personalized (contextual) ads are shown
• On Android, ads may be personalized based on your device information and usage. You can opt out of personalized ads in system settings

Information Sharing

We do not actively share, sell, or rent your personal information.

The only possible information sharing is through third-party services (such as Google AdMob), which have their own privacy policies.

Children’s Privacy

The App has an age rating of 4+ (Everyone) on the App Store / Google Play. The App is not specifically designed for children, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. The advertising service is not configured with a child-directed tag. If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child has provided personal information without your consent, please contact us.

Data Security

• All game data is stored locally on your device and protected by your device’s operating system
• We do not have servers, so there is no risk of data breaches
• We recommend backing up your device regularly to prevent data loss

Your Rights

You have the following rights:

• Access: You can view your game data within the App at any time
• Export: You can export your local game data via Settings > Export Database
• Deletion: You can completely clear all data by deleting the App
• Opt-Out: You can opt out of personalized ads (see instructions above)
• Report Issues: You can report issues to us via Settings > Report Issue

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be communicated through:

• Noted in the update description in the app store
• Updated “Last Updated” date at the top of this page

We recommend that you review this policy regularly to stay informed of any changes.
